Occupying a prime position within Amsterdam’s popular Jordaan district, this charming one bedroom apartment comfortably accommodates up to two guests.
Ideally located within a chic and stylish area of the city, this apartment provides the perfect retreat for you and your companion. Split over two levels and boasting a delightful mix of the past and the present day, the apartment ensures that you are able to relax and unwind in comfort for the duration of your stay.
The cosy living area, which is furnished with a comfy sofa and a chair, is enhanced by beautifully exposed ceiling beams and attractive wooden floors. A traditional dining table is also at your disposal, creating the model setting for breakfast or dinner.
Nestled within the slopes of the roof, the inviting bedroom provides a tranquil haven in which to rest and appreciate a good night’s sleep following an action packed day. It is here that you will find a luxurious double bed, a chair and beside tables with reading lamps. Completing this charming abode is the apartment’s refreshing bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, washbasin, bathtub and shower.
This apartment includes a baby bed, baby bath and changing mat.
Ideally located within easy reach of Amsterdam’s vibrant city centre, this apartment occupies a prime position within the city’s sought after Jordaan district – an area which is much-loved by locals and tourists alike. The area was created in the 1600s to house the ever increasing population of the city but soon became poor, overcrowded and run down. During the 1970s, the Jordaan was given a remarkable facelift, which transformed it into the stylish district that it is today.
Renowned for its superb selection of chic boutiques, charming cafes and fine dining establishments, the Jordaan is also well-known for its huge array of must see sights and attractions, including the world famous Anne Frank House Museum, which can be found just minutes away from the apartment. It was here, within this typical canal side house, that Anne Frank wrote her iconic diary, whilst she and her Jewish family hid from the Nazis during the Second World War.
Also nearby are the area’s two magnificent churches – the Noorderkerk (North Church) and the Westerkerk (West Church), which are both definitely worthy of a visit. The churches were built when the Jordaan was created and both boast some truly stunning architecture.
