One such sight is the striking New Church (Nieuwe Kerk), which is often referred to as the most important church in the Netherlands. Dating back to the 1400s, the church is regularly used throughout the year by the Dutch Royal family for various occasions, as well as being a venue for many impressive art and history exhibitions which are open to the public.

Alongside the New Church is Amsterdam’s iconic Dam Square which attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world every single day.
