This new apartment building (2016) is located in one of Amsterdam's most wanted and upcoming city areas: Amsterdam North. A free ferry easily connects you to Central Station and the central district. Other types of public transport are busses and the metro. Amsterdam Noord (literally: North) is more spacious and tranquil than other areas in Amsterdam, yet it is full of fun and interesting things to do. Locals love the area of Amsterdam Noord for its lovely views over the Amsterdam waters, cozy cafés, the industrial area that is popular for organized food events and festivals, and off the beaten track bike lanes.

Within a minutes' ferry ride from Amsterdam Central Station (offered free of charge by the Amsterdam government) you can reach several stations of the 'Northern grounds of the city'. From here you can enjoy a good walk to many of its interesting sights. One of the popular sights is the Eye Museum, located in a remarkable architectural building and particularly fascinating if you are interested in the film industry. Next to the Eye Museum you can enjoy the sky deck at the A'Dam Tower for some beautiful panoramic views, an elevator takes you to the top floor in twenty seconds. The A’DAM Tower also features restaurants, a bar/lounge, and club.

At the former shipping wharf ''NDSM-terrain'' (which is one of the ferry stops in the area) are some hip and alternative cafés, loved by locals. At times there are food festivals and music festivals organized here and once a month, there is the ''IJhallen'', the largest flea market in Europe. You will find a great mix of people in this area, lots of students, artists, and also families with small children. Amsterdam Noord is the perfect combination of entertainment and a good atmosphere, mixed with a residential vibe and tranquility.
