The 1-bedroom Congress Centre Apartment B2 is stylish and comfortable self serviced holiday home to be found just south of the city, along the River Amstel. Sleeping up 2 guests, it makes an excellent base for all your adventures in the city.

The Congress Centre Apartment B2 lies in the south of the city, just a 7 minute tram, train or bus ride away from the Central Station. The nearest stop is Amstel Station which is just across the nearby Berlagebrug Bridge. Located along the River Amstel in the sleepy Ijselbuurt district, the apartment is well located for many attractions the city has to offer. Just a 10 minute walk to the east brings you to the wonderful Artis Zoo. Here you can see all the most popular animals like tigers, monkeys and giraffes as well as feed more local animals to the Netherlands such as goats, sheep and chickens. Artis is well known for its excellent standard of care for its animal inhabitants and its successful breeding programme. Hopefully there will be some new-born babies to say hello to when you call by.

Further up the road you will find the Botanical Gardens where you can walk amongst the giant cacti and lush Green plantations in the huge tropical hot houses. It makes an excellent afternoon excursion on a rainy or cold winter’s day.

Head further into town and you will come to the famous Waterlooplein Flea Market where just everything and anything seems to be on sale. You are sure to find a bargain here and something truly unusual to take home as a souvenir of your trip or as a gift for a loved one back home.
