Fresh and contemporary studio apartment, for up to three guests, located in Amsterdam’s authentic Eastern Islands.
Blending easy access to the city centre with a rewarding local neighbourhood, the studio allows you to enjoy the very best of the Dutch capital. The lodging has been efficiently arranged for your peace and comfort and benefits from wooden floors, bright décor and modern amenities. Furnished with tasteful wall hangings, the living and dining space provides a pleasant spot for relaxation, fitted out with a single sofa-bed, a dining table and a kitchenette. A hob, fridge, freezer, kettle and a coffee machine are available for your convenience. The double bed is partitioned from the living space for added privacy, with plenty of storage cupboards on hand for stowing your personal belongings. The dwelling also includes a high speed Wi-Fi connection and a private bathroom, complete with a washbasin, toilet and shower. Simple yet comfortable, the studio offers a superb Amsterdam base for a romantic couple or a small group of friends. It's a none smoking apartment.
The accommodation can be found just outside the capital’s central ring upon the redeveloped Eastern Islands. Once a thriving shipbuilding district, the neighbourhood retains several reminders of its industrial past, creating a charismatic setting adored by locals and free from the tourist crowds. Plenty of cafes and restaurants populate the quarter, with recommended nearby highlights including the instantly welcoming Gare de L’est, the delightful Helena Primakoff and the alternative Roest. The latter is housed in a former steel factory and combines a great atmosphere with exhibition space, a picturesque location and its very own beach.
Other interesting venues within easy reach include the treasured Brouwerij ’t IJ, a must for beer lovers, the fascinating National Maritime Museum and Amsterdam’s historic Artis Zoo. Access to the city’s core is simple, with Central Station reachable by tram in fifteen minutes and by bike in just ten.
