Accommodating up to 4 guests, this superb two bedroom apartment offers an ideal base in the centre of Amsterdam.
Conveniently situated at the heart of the action, this apartment provides the perfect starting point from which your journey of this amazing city can begin. Set upon the second floor of an impressive building, the apartment is enhanced by authentic features such as huge windows, high ceilings and wooden floors. The living room, furnished with two comfy sofas, a coffee table and a flatscreen television, effortlessly blends with the open plan kitchen. Here you will find everything you need to enable you to prepare a home cooked meal, which can be enjoyed together with your companions at the attractive dining table.
Nestled within the slopes of the roof and boasting beautifully exposed ceiling beams, are the apartment’s two bright and spacious bedrooms. Between them, the bedrooms contain a set of single beds and bedside cabinets with reading lamps. The stylish bathroom is fitted with a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower.
Important notice: As with many Amsterdam properties, access to the apartment is via a relatively steep staircase, making this an unsuitable choice for persons with restricted movement or visitors travelling with young children.
Ideally located within easy reach of an array of must see sights and attractions, this apartment is perfectly positioned just minutes away from Amsterdam’s famous Dam Square. Bustling with activity, this huge square attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world with its collection of cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. Dam Square is also where many of the city’s most impressive buildings can be found, such as the 17th century Royal Palace and the stunning New Church (Nieuwe Kerk), as well as being home to attractions such as the well-known Madame Tussauds.
To the north of the apartment, only a short walk away, you will find Centraal Station, Amsterdam’s main transport hub. This busy railway station connects the city with the rest of the country and is frequented by a staggering 250,000 passengers on a daily basis. The station, which opened in 1889, also hosts the city’s largest Tourist Information Office. Also nearby, and definitely worthy of a visit, are the narrow passageways which make up the renowned Red Light District. Much loved for its vibrant nightlife scene, the area is actually set within the oldest part of the city and boasts the historical Old Church (Oude Kerk), which dates back to the 14th century.
