The Dapper market Apartment 10 offers comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 2 guests. This charming holiday home has 1 bedroom and is located on the edge of the leafy Plantage district alongside Artis Zoo.
Situated on the 3rd floor and decorated with simple neutral colours and light wooden laminate flooring throughout you are sure to fall in love with this short stay apartment. It comes with an excellent open kitchen fully fitted with al the equipment you need to prepare you favourite meals form back home or perhaps try some local Dutch recipes. You can serve up your tasty creations at the dining table and chairs alongside. On the other side of a large book case is a writing desk and chair where you can use a lap top computer or prepare paperwork if you are visiting the city on business. The living room has a lovely big comfy sofa. From here you can all relax together and watch the provided flat screen TV. The apartment has a private bathroom kitted out with sin, shower and toilet. The bedroom is decorated in neutral colours to ensure you get a good night’s sleep with pleasant mood lighting and good storage furniture for all your clothes and belongings.
You will find excellent transport links at the end of the street just a few minutes’ walk away. Regular trams head in and out of town. A journey to Central Station takes around 7 minutes depending on traffic.
The Dapper Market Apartment 10 is located to the east of the city centre just a 4 minute walk away from Artis Zoo. You will find travelling into the centre extremely easy form the apartment. There are good transport links at the end of the street, just 3 minutes’ walk away. Here you can jump on any tram heading to Central Station taking around 7 minutes depending on traffic. You can also walk to the centre in around 10 minutes.
Artis Zoo makes an excellent afternoon out, especially if you have children in your party. The zoo has all the usual favourites including tigers, giraffes and lots and lots of cheeky monkeys! A favourite here is the butterfly house where you can walk amongst their lush habitat as the pretty winged insects flutter around you, land on you and even eat fruit from your hands. Don’t miss the brilliant aquarium which was purposely built in the 19th century. It has an incredible marble-lined hall full of giant fish tanks with hundreds of unusual underwater creatures to see.
Why not take a sneaky peak at the famous Red Light District of the city. It is located in the very centre of the city east of Damrak and just south of Central Station. Don’t be afraid to explore the narrow streets, it is considered to be a very safe place these days. It is certainly a fascinating area to visit at night when the streets really come to life and the neon lights reflect atmospherically in the water of the canals. Please understand it is not allowed to take photos of the windows, no matter how tempting. The consequences may not be favourable.
