De Pijp Boutique Apartment 1

The extremely beautiful 2-bedroom city apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests and is located in the vibrant de Pijp district of Amsterdam.

You are sure to adore the sumptuous clean creamy décor, sleek wooden floorboards and large windows in this impressive city pad. Kick off your shoes and get comfortable on the big comfy sofa from where you can enjoy the wall mounted flat screen TV also provided.

Head over to the open plan kitchen and rustle up your favourite recipes from back home or perhaps put together a picnic to take out with you on your daily travels around the city. There’s a sturdy dining table with enough chairs for everyone to enjoy sociable and comfortable mealtimes.

The private bedrooms are designed with the same simple restful colour scheme and fitted with a comfortable double bed in one room and a two singles in the other. The apartment also features a private designer bathroom fitted with a shower, sink and toilet.

You will find the apartment located to the south of the city centre close to the beautiful River Amstel. A few minutes away lies the stunning Sarphatipark where you can relax in the sun. It is very popular with local Amsterdammers as well as visitors to the city. It is certainly quieter then the more famous Vondelpark which is located to the west and attracts more than 10 million visitors every year.

Amsterdam boasts nearly 60 museums so there are lots of opportunities to experience some world class cultural delights during your stay. Take you pick from the Rijksmuseum, Diamond Museum, Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk which are located close by to the west in the Museumplein district.

Cross over the Amstel to visit the beautiful old Carré theatre and the popular Hermitage Museum further north. If you prefer your exhibits more animal related then head to Artis Zoo also across the river in the leafy Plantage district.

Getting around the city is easy as there are lots of regular trams running up Ferdinand Bolstraat to the west or the Ceintuurbaan to the north. Alternatively you might prefer to hire bicycles for the duration of your stay. Cycling into town along the Amstel is a particularly restful and beautiful journey.
