You will find this holiday home located to the south of the city centre, close to the beautiful Amstel river. A few minutes away lies the Sarphatipark where you can relax and have a walk. It is popular with local Amsterdammers as well as visitors to the city. It is certainly quieter than the more famous Vondelpark which is located to the west and attracts more than 10 million visitors every year. Cross over the Amstel to visit the Carré theatre, the Magere Brug ('skinny bridge') and the Hermitage Museum.

Amsterdam boasts about sixty museums, so there are lots of opportunities to experience some world class cultural delights during your stay. Take your pick from the Rijksmuseum, Diamond Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Moco and the Stedelijk which are located in the Museumplein district. Getting around the city is easy as there are lots of regular trams nearby at the Ceintuurbaan or the Van Woustraat. At Ferdinand Bolstraat you will also find Metro station Amsterdam De Pijp. Alternatively you might prefer to hire bicycles for the duration of your stay. Cycling into town along the Amstel is a particularly beautiful journey.
