Sleeping up to 4 guests in harmonious comfort, this fantastic city centre 1-bedroom holiday makes an ideal choice.
Perfectly positioned in the heart of the city, a short walk away to the east of Central Station, this fantastic holiday pad makes the perfect base for all your adventures in town. Inside you will find a truly minimal, contemporary ambience with sleekly styled furniture and art gallery like white walls. There is a certain serenity here which will certainly encourage you to relax more during your stay.
The living room area features a warm wooden floor and a large sofa bed as well as a flat screen TV. Two of your guests can sleep here comfortably at night time. A fitted kitchen allows you to conjure up your favourite recipes from home with ease and there’s also a small dining table and chairs also provided for comfortable mealtimes.
Take the stairs up to discover a mezzanine level where the private bedroom can be found. A private bathroom is also situated here and fitted with a sink, shower and toilet.
Important Information: Please note that these studios are located in a separate building adjacent to the small courtyard at the back of the main building. This building can only be reached through the main building and the courtyard, this route includes one flight of stairs to the lower ground level.
The apartment is perfectly located for all your adventures in the city. Head east on foot a few minutes from Central Station and you will arrive at the apartment shortly. The building stands almost directly opposite the excellent NEMO centre, the city’s stimulating science museum. Extremely popular with families with children, the centre has a strictly ‘hands ON’ visitor policy. Feel free to touch whatever you like. There are so many knobs to push and pulleys to turn on various displays that demonstrate the magic of science. The building itself is hard to miss. It rises from the dockside like the tall bow of a ship. The very top of the building boasts an amazing viewing deck where you can take in amazing panoramas of the city. In the summer time it’s a great place to join locals sunbathing too.
The apartment is also close to the famous Red Light District which is extremely popular with visitors travelling in groups. It certainly has a reputation to be loud and boisterous, particularly at night time so you may prefer to avoid it if you are travelling with children. Otherwise a visit here is perfectly acceptable and positively expected. At night time the area really does come alive and it can be very atmospheric with the red neon reflecting in the canals. One word of warning however: it is never acceptable to take photographs of the windows, no matter how tempting it may seem. The consequences of not heeding this advice will not have a favourable outcome for you.
The beautiful Niuewmarkt area is also close by where you can pick up delicious ingredients from the farmers’ markets here on a Saturday and the surrounding China Town is very interesting to explore. Look out for the giant Chinese temple tucked away most unexpectedly on the ancient winding street of Zeedijk. It’s an absolute delight to behold.
