Jordaan Laurier Apartment D

Jordaan Laurier Apartment D is a charming and modern 1-bedroom apartment in a quiet side street within the popular Jordaan district of Amsterdam.

Set upon the third floor of a traditional building, this stylish holiday home comfortably accommodates up to four guests and provides a welcome retreat within a sought after neighbourhood of the city. Beaming with an abundance of natural light, the apartment is enhanced by beautiful wooden floors, high ceilings and crisp, white walls. The living room, which is furnished with a sofa, a large sofa bed, a coffee table and a flatscreen television with DVD player, is framed by several windows, providing a delightful view across the street. The modern open plan kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances in order to prepare a home cooked meal for your companions. An attractive dining table is also at your disposal, creating the model setting for an evening meal.

The bright bedroom consists of a comfortable double bed and a wardrobe. The contemporary bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower cubicle, naturally completes this delightful accommodation. The ensuite bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom and cannot be closed off by a door, therefore keep in mind that privacy is limited.

Conveniently situated at the edge of Amsterdam’s picturesque Canal Belt, this apartment is perfectly positioned within the fashionable Jordaan district of the city. Loved by tourists and locals alike, the neighbourhood boasts a fine array of stylish boutiques, quaint cafes and delightful restaurants, together with a collection of must see sights and attractions. Two of Amsterdam’s beautiful churches can be found within the Jordaan, the Noorderkerk (North Church) and the Westerkerk (West Church). Both churches were built in the 1600s, when the area was created. Each one displays some truly outstanding examples of stunning architecture and both are a sight not to be missed.

Also nearby is the famous Anne Frank House Museum, which can be found along the banks of the majestic Prinsengracht Canal. The museum allows visitors the opportunity to explore the house in which Anne Frank wrote her iconic diary, whilst she and her Jewish family hid from the Nazis during the Second World War. The house is one of the top tourist attractions in Amsterdam and is definitely worthy of a visit.
