Jordaan Laurier Apartment E

Jordaan Laurier Apartment E is a cozy and modern 1-bedroom apartment that accommodates up to two guests and occupies a prime position within the popular Jordaan district of Amsterdam.

Offering an ideal retreat, this attic apartment provides a perfect place in which to relax and unwind following an action packed day of sightseeing. Enhanced by beautifully exposed ceiling beams and attractive wooden floors, the apartment is warm and inviting. The bright and airy living room features a delightful seating area with an armchair, a sofa and a coffee table, together with a flatscreen television. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare a home cooked meal, which can be enjoyed together in comfort at the elegant dining table.

Beaming with an abundance of natural light, the bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed and bedside cabinet. Completing this charming abode is the apartment’s fresh and modern bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower enclosure.

Important Information: The stairs are fairly steep, this could make it difficult for elderly, small children and those travelling with large suitcases.

Conveniently situated in a quiet side street within the sought after Jordaan district of Amsterdam, this apartment is within easy reach of a number of shops, cafes and restaurants. Also the renowned ‘9 little Streets’ are nearby, they boast a collection of chic boutiques, fashionable retailers and fine dining establishments, and cross the main canals of the Canal Belt. Literally minutes away, you will find the Jordaan’s stunning Westerkerk (West Church), which is a sight definitely worthy of a visit. Designed by Hendrick de Keyser in the early 1600s, the church is loved for its striking architecture and huge 85 metre high tower with a blue crown on top, which can be viewed from across the city. The famous Dutch artist Rembrandt van Rijn is buried at the Westerkerk, in an unmarked grave.

Next to the Westerkerk is one of Amsterdam’s most popular tourist attractions, the Anne Frank House Museum, which is located to the north of the apartment along the picturesque Prinsengracht Canal. The house is where Anne Frank wrote her well-known diary, whilst hiding from the Nazis during the Second World War. Nowadays, the museum allows visitors the chance to journey through the building and view the secret annex.
