Many of Amsterdam’s must-see sights can be found within easy reach of the apartment including the city’s famous Anne Frank House Museum, located only a short walk away. Overlooking the majestic Prinsengracht Canal, the museum was once the hiding place of the Frank family, where they hid from the Nazis during the Second World War. It was here, within this typical canal side building, that Anne Frank wrote her iconic diary. The museum attracts visitors from all over the world and is one of Amsterdam’s most popular tourist attractions.
