Every Monday and Saturday a market takes place on the square of the Noordermarkt. The Jordaan is also home to many of the city’s delights including the two churches – the Noorderkerk (North Church) and the Westerkerk (West Church), which can both be found just minutes away from the apartment. The Westerkerk’s 85 metre high tower is simply breath-taking and can be viewed from across the city.

Nearby is one of Amsterdam’s most visited attractions, which draws people in from across the globe. The Anne Frank House is a fascinating museum which allows visitors to explore the story of Anne Frank and her family, who concealed themselves within the house’s secret annex whilst hiding from the Nazis during World War II. The house, which is located alongside the picturesque Prinsengracht Canal, is where Anne Frank wrote her world famous diary.
