Location

Conveniently situated within easy reach of a superb selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, this apartment occupies a prime position within Amsterdam’s central Canal Belt – a network of waterways which encase the heart of the city. The canals attract visitors from all over the world and are often bustling with activity.

Just a short walk away from the apartment will lead you to the impressive Museum Van Loon, which is definitely worthy of a visit. Set within a typical canal side house, which is owned by the renowned Van Loon family, the museum exhibits a beautiful interior which is brimming with eye catching paintings, delightful furnishings and an array of magnificent ornaments. The museum also hosts fabulous garden parties which take place during the summer months and are certainly not to be missed.

Also nearby, towards the east of the apartment, is the charming Amstelveld Square, which is where you will find a collection of market stalls selling everything from fine antiques to pretty flowers. At the edge of the square is the Amstelkerk, a unique wooden church which dates back to the 1600s. The church was originally built as a temporary place of worship but is nowadays used as a venue for musical performances.
