The apartment is located in the heart of Amsterdam, a few minutes’ walk away from the beautiful Prinsengracht Canal. It is one of four large man-made waterways that loop around the city centre elegantly. Be sure to explore the canals during the day and night time and admire the pretty houseboats and unexpected wildlife. Many of the bridges are lit up romantically in the evenings by small lights that reflect atmospherically in the water.

A fantastic tram service runs you to and from Central Station in a matter of minutes just at the end of the street from the apartment. You will also find world class attractions on your door step including the popular Heineken Experience, a tour of the history of one of Holland’s most famous exports. Also just a short walk away lies Museum Square which is packed with cultural establishments including the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and the newly refurbished Stedelijk where you can spend a few hours with some of the greatest artists of the late 20th century.

Wander a little further west and enjoy a frothy coffee in one of the delightful cafes in and around the Vondelpark. This fantastic mile-long green landscaped parkland is one of the biggest jewels in the city’s crown and attracts over 10 million visitors every year.
