The apartment blends modern fixtures with classical furnishings, creating an inviting setting to relax and unwind in. The living area features tasteful artworks, armchairs, a sofa, coffee table and a flatscreen TV. A fully fitted kitchen and a dining table are on hand for preparing and enjoying home cooked meals, with an oven, microwave, grill, hob, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher at your disposal. The lodging also provides a free of charge Nespresso machine, a washing machine, dryer, iron and Wi-Fi internet for added convenience. Perfect for a family or two couples, the apartment offers comfort and luxury in a rewarding Amsterdam neighbourhood.
Please note the apartment has several stairs to climb and is not suitable for those with reduced mobility.
The apartment is in a perfect location and the city center is easily reachable via public transport. The Oosterpark is a must see and the Tropenmuseum should not be missed. The Dappenbuurt has the second largest market of Amsterdam, with produce from the Dutch Antilles, Surinam, Morrocco and Indonesia, reflecting the areas past glories.
There are plenty of specialised delis and a strong recommendation is “de Biertuin” with great hamburgers. ”Café Hesp” has one of the best terraces in the city and a terrific view of the harbour. Getting to and from the centre is easy with a choice of tram, (3, 7 and 9), metro (51, 53, 54) and even the train.
