The exposed wooden beams and sloping ceiling provide plenty of character for this beautiful attic studio. The accommodation features an open plan modern kitchen, the living room and the dining area are integrated in an intimate setting. Renowned for its calm and tranquil atmosphere, the area is home to a superb selection of must-see sights and attractions, including the popular Royal Artis Zoo. This historic zoo, which dates back to the 1800s, boasts an impressive collection of around 900 species of animals. It is also here that you will find a museum, an aquarium and a planetarium. Positioned alongside the Royal Artis Zoo are Amsterdam’s Botanical Gardens, which are definitely worthy of a visit. Originally formed in the 1600s when they were used to supply herbal remedies to local pharmacists, the gardens are filled with an array of beautiful plants and trees.
