Prins III Apartment Amsterdam

Centrally located at the edge of the pretty Jordaan district close to all the city’s major attractions, this delightful 3-bedroom holiday home accommodates up to 6 guests in style.

Beautifully decorated throughout in simple neutral colours and furnished attractively, this outstanding holiday home boasts all the cosy home comforts you need during your stay. Put your feet up after long days out exploring the city in the main living room area at the huge sofa and chair. You can relax together here and enjoy the provided flat screen television.
A fully fitted kitchen provides you with all the equipment you could possibly need for whipping up some tasty snacks or a full three course meal for your guests. Ingredients can be purchased locally at the many convenience stores close by.

The apartment has three private bedrooms, each fitted with double beds, bedside lighting and wardrobes for all your travel items and clothes. There are also no less than three separate stylishly designed bathrooms, each fitted with a sink, shower and toilet.

The highlight of the apartment has to be the wonderful private roof terrace. What could be more perfect than relaxing on a warm summer’s evening with your fellow guests in the open air and chatting over a glass of wine?

Location

The apartment can be found in the heart of the city on one of the pretty narrow streets that connect each of the four major city canals. At street level you will find lots of delightful cafes, junk shops, vintage and latest fashion boutiques, art galleries and antique shops to explore.

The adjoining canals are the Keizersgracht to the east and the iconic Prinsengracht to the west. The latter hosts the infamous secret home of Anne frank, her family and friends who lived here in hiding from the Nazis during the Occupation of the city. An excellent visitors’ centre at the location, just a short walk away from your apartment, allows you to explore the hidden annexe for yourself and learn about Anne’s amazing legacy. A visit here is extremely a moving experience for many and you have the opportunity to learn about the history of ‘tolerance’ around the world. If you wish to visit the museum it is wise to book online in advance to avoid the predictably huge queues that occur particularly in the summer months.

To the west of the apartment lies the pretty Jordaan district with its floral window displays and charming parallel streets. The area is peppered with lots of laid back cafes, monumental buildings with beautiful architecture, delightful courtyards, traditional ‘brown’ pubs, art galleries and independent boutiques.

Getting to and from Central Station is extremely easy since you can simply follow the road directly onto Spuisstraat and then wander north. On foot it takes around 12 minutes. You may of course prefer to hop on a passing tram at Westermarkt or Raadhuisstraat, just south of the apartment.
