Rijksmuseum View Apartment 3

Rijksmuseum View Apartment 3 is a charming and stylish 3-bedroom apartment that sleeps up to four guests, ideally located in the centre of Amsterdam opposite the Rijksmuseum.

Step inside this immaculately presented short stay rental apartment and be wowed by the beautiful décor, contemporary furnishings and warm wooden floor boards. You will absolutely love returning to your holiday home after a day out exploring the city. Relax together in the living room on the comfy sofa and armchairs and recharge your batteries. You will find a flat screen TV with international channels installed for your entertainment. Head into the small but fully fitted kitchen and prepare a home made meal. You will find all the equipment you need here as well as a dining table and chairs to enjoy your culinary creations comfortably.

The apartment has three bedrooms with two double beds in the first and second room, two single beds in the third room. The bedrooms are equipped with practical storage for all your clothes and belongings as well as pretty bed-side lighting. The private bathroom in the apartment is fitted with a shower, bath, sink and toilet.

Please note: this building has steep stairs therefore it may not be suitable for elderly guests or families travelling with small children.

The apartment is perfectly located near the famous Rijksmuseum itself. This incredibly majestic museum is jam packed with stunning treasures of national and international importance including Rembrandt’s famous ‘Night watch’. With so much to see you can certainly spend several hours looking around this Dutch cultural icon. On the same square, the Museumplein, you will also find the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum for modern art. The former houses the largest collection of paintings by Vincent Van Gogh including many of his famous self-portraits. The latter is the perfect place to come face to face with the great artists of the 20th century including Picasso, Cézanne, Matisse, Lichtenstein and Warhol.

After all that cultural excitement you could need some peace and quiet to digest it all. Head west a few minutes on foot to the wonderful Vondelpark. This popular mile long oasis of calm is beautifully landscaped. Take a leisurely stroll admiring the water features, and thousands of trees. Look out for the hundreds of wild parrots who have made the park their home in recent years. Why not go native and hire bikes for the duration of your stay? Amsterdam and most of Holland is designed with the bicycle in mind. Excellent dedicated cycle lanes make it safe to cycle here in comparison with any other European country.

Around the corner of the apartment is Amsterdam's most exclusive and luxurious shopping street: the P.C. Hooftstraat. Here you will find Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Armani and Hugo Boss. On the next street, the Van Baerlestraat, are some less expensive shops like Vanilia and Zara.
