Situated in an old townhouse in the historic centre of Amsterdam the 1-bedroom Old Harbour M Apartment is in an ideal location for anyone looking for a holiday rental property with easy access to all the major attractions the city has to offer. This delightful apartment packs a punch with its stunning fresh white design combined with the dark wooden floorboards. There’s also an excellent flat screen TV provided with access to international channels for your entertainment. A beautiful white fitted kitchen has everything you need to cook all your favourite meals for you and your guests. You can enjoy sociable meals together at the large dining table and chairs. In the bedroom you will two comfortable singles beds creating a double. The apartment has a private bathroom fitted with sink, shower, bath and toilet.
The Old Harbour M Apartment is perfectly situated a few minutes’ walk east of Central Station. This is the oldest part of the city and is close to the beautiful Nieuwmarkt district. Here on the open square local produce is regularly sold including fruit and vegetables, handicrafts and antiques.
Take any street behind the apartment and head towards the Waterlooplein Market via Nieuwmarkt. On the left hand side of Sint Antoniesbreestraat you will see a charming toy shop called ‘Knuffels’. You can’t miss the crazy window display featuring cuddly toys and gadgets bouncing up and down and decorative spinning wind mills. Inside you will find more of the same, perfect for that special toy or gift for young loved ones back home. Parked outside is possibly Amsterdam’s most famous decorated bicycle. You will have to wait your turn if you want to take a photo as it is something of a camera magnet!
For more photo opportunities continue along the road to the famous Rembrandt House Museum on the right and the wonderfully eccentric Waterlooplein Flea Market that lies behind.
