The bathroom is modern and includes a toilet, a washbasin, a mirror, and a nice shower. Amenities include a hair dryer, linen, towels and WiFi internet. Situated right next to the city centre it is a perfect holiday rental for you to get to know Amsterdam from the inside out.
Please note the apartment is located on the fourth floor and therefore there are some steep stairs to climb.
This apartment is located on the Czaar Peterstraat, in the centre of Amsterdam. The neighbourhood is full of 19th century character, narrow streets and lots of art galleries. In recent years, the area has developed into a base for many artists, and the streets are home to many unusual shops and boutiques.
Just around the corner is the Ij Brewery windmill (Brouwerij ’t IJ), where you can enjoy a delicious beer. Also within a short walking distance is the famous Artis zoo, the Museum of the Tropics, and Amsterdam University. The “Negen straatjes” (9 streets), home to many of Amsterdam’s exciting smaller boutiques, are also just a short walk away. The Palace on Dam Square and the hectic Kalverstraat shopping street are close by, whilst the Red Light District and the calm of the Vondel park are also within easy reach, either on foot, by bike or tram. Visit the tempting Lindengracht food market on a Saturday morning, or the farmers' market on the Noordermarkt. A short tram/bike ride away is the Museumplein, home to the Van Gogh Museum, the newly reopened Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Rijksmuseum with its collection of world renowned masterworks. Something for every taste!
For those of you who want to venture a little further afield, hop on one of the many trams to take you across Amsterdam. The main train station, Central Station, is also just a stone’s throw away.
