Conveniently situated within a sought after area of the city, this apartment provides the perfect place in which to relax and unwind following an action packed day of exploring the superb collection of nearby sights and attractions. Oozing a sense of style and sophistication, the apartment ensures that your stay will be both comfortable and memorable.
The striking living room, which is furnished with an L-shaped sofa bed and a flatscreen television, effortlessly blends with the fashionably designed kitchen. Here, amongst the eye-catching red units, you will find all the necessary appliances needed in order to prepare a home cooked meal. A trendy dining table is also at your disposal, creating the model setting for an evening get together.
Towards the rear of the apartment is the light and airy bedroom, which offers a tranquil haven in which to rest. The modern bathroom is fitted with a toilet, washbasin and shower enclosure. Completing this contemporary abode is the apartment’s delightful patio area, where you can just sit back and watch the world go by.
Ideally located towards the west of the city centre, this apartment occupies a prime position within Amsterdam’s much-loved Jordaan district – an area bursting with a superb selection of chic boutiques, charming cafes and fine restaurants. The neighbourhood was originally created in the 1600s to house the ever expanding working class population of the city, however it soon became run down, overcrowded and filled with slums. During the 1970s, the Jordaan was given a much-needed facelift, resulting in the stylish, trendy area that it is today.
The Jordaan is also renowned for its vast array of must see sights and attractions, many of which are just minutes away from the apartment. It is here that you will find the world famous Anne Frank House Museum, which is definitely worthy of a visit. The house is where Anne Frank wrote her iconic diary whilst she and her Jewish family hid from the Nazis during the Second World War. Also nearby is the striking Westerkerk (West Church), which was designed in the 1600s by the architect Hendrick de Keyser. The church exhibits some truly exceptional examples of impressive architecture and is a sight certainly not to be missed whilst visiting this fascinating city.
