Do you need a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Amsterdam for a group of 4? Well, this very Dutch Amsterdam apartment may be the answer to your quest.
You’re bound to be delighted by the tasteful mix of traditional wooden floors and contemporary elements of furnishing. Add to that a generous amount of space and daylight, as well as a very soothing décor, and you’ve got a perfect indoor setting for an enjoyable short stay in Amsterdam.
The ultra-bright and roomy living area offers a generous set of features creating an ideal lounge setting. These include: a comfortable double sofa-bed, a pair of matching armchairs, a designer coffee table, a flatscreen TV (for some home entertainment in case you need it), and a dining table complete with a set of chairs if you wish to dine with style at home. This is of course possible thanks to the rich supply of cooking amenities you’ll further in the apartment, in a modern semi-open-plan kitchen annex.
The ‘night’ section comprises two separate – and equally atmospheric – bedrooms. One of them is furnished with a large double bed accompanied by a set of nightstands with lamps, and a capacious wardrobe, while the other comes with a pair of single beds. The apartment comes also – naturally – with a fresh bathroom, fitted with a toilet, sink, and a shower cabin to give you all the convenience you may need during your Amsterdam short stay.
Important information:
The apartment is in an residential area and not suitable for party people and/or stag parties. Therefore this apartment can host maximum of 4 male guests.
The district of Plantage – as this is the name of your temporary neighborhood – is a fine example of adapting nature for residential purpose. Despite becoming available to Amsterdam’s citizens quite some time ago, it has preserved all of its natural charm, which makes it one of the more attractive and pleasant areas to live in.
It is also one of the best bases for explorations of the Venice of the North. First, it features a number of amazing local attractions, like the green Hortus Botanicus, the vivid and cheerful Artis Royal Zoo (both found a bit to the north), or the peaceful Oosterpark with the neighboring Tropenmuseum (both found more to the south-east). Second, it comes with a range of splendid eating establishments, so if you’re a foodie, you’re in the right place.
Still, while it may seem to be an oasis of peace, it remains very close to the ‘wilder’ parts of the city. Just across Amstel you’ll find one of the best local sites of quality nightlife – the vibrant Rembrandtplein, and if you proceed further to the north-west, you’ll soon reach the heart of the city with all its famous highlights – the huge Oude Kerk, the picturesque Dam Square, and the infamous Red Light District – to mention only a few.
