Amstel Delight Studio 1 A

The delightfully styled and ideally positioned studio apartment can be found in the heart of Amsterdam’s popular De Pijp district and accommodates up to two guests.

Positioned on the first floor, this welcoming holiday home has attractive warm wooden flooring and modern furnishings throughout. You will find a comfortable double bed as well as a flat screen TV and practical space for the storage of your belongings.  A fully equipped kitchen allows you to make your own home cooked meals during your stay whilst a small dining table and chairs is ideal for a romantic meal together. The apartment also has a private bathroom fitted with a shower, sink and toilet.

Location

The apartment can be found located in an area known as De Pijp, in the south of Amsterdam. In this popular and vibrant residential district you will find lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and interesting places to explore on your doorstep. Most delightful is the apartment’s close proximity to the impressive River Amstel which is actually just seconds away. Many visitors to the apartment choose to walk into the historical city centre along the river’s western bank. Alternatively you can simply hop on a tram at nearby Ceintuurbaan or Van Woustraat. The trams can whizz you to Central Station in around 12 minutes, depending on traffic. We would absolutely recommend all visitors to hire bicycles, as it’s not only cheaper and often quicker than public transport, it’s also lots of fun seeing the city from a new perspective. Don’t worry, cycling in the Netherlands is safe compared to other countries as we have dedicated cycle lanes to keep you away from regular traffic.

You will find the pretty parks of Sarphatipark and Oosterpark to the north and east respectively, both of which are delightful places to enjoy a picnic in the warmer months. Meanwhile why not pop across the Amstel and explore the leafy district of the Plantage? It’s home to Artis Zoo as well as the city’s Horticultural Gardens which include huge greenhouses creating Rain Forrest-like environments to experience. There couldn’t be a better place to visit on a cold or rainy day in the city.
For some cultural stimulus head west to Museum Square and take your pick from the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum (history and art) and the Stedelijk (modern art).
