This Amsterdam apartment is located on the exclusive Nieuwe Spiegelstraat, home to an impressive collection of around 70 antique stores and art galleries. This charming street leads directly to the city’s peaceful Museum Quarter, making this accommodation the perfect choice for art lovers. The imposing Rijksmuseum marks the entrance to this cultural district, boasting an immense collection of over a million objects, including paintings, sculptures, prints and much more. The highly regarded Dutch Masterpieces exhibition is perhaps the most spectacular, which features the highlights of the Golden Age and attracts over a million admirers annually. Just around the corner is one of Amsterdam’s most visited attractions, the Van Gogh Museum, home to the largest compilation of Van Gogh paintings and drawings in the world.
Also close by is the vibrant Leidseplein, a heavily populated square brimming with fashionable restaurants, themed pubs and pulsating nightclubs. A short stroll past the impressive Stadsschouwburg or Municipal Theatre of Amsterdam will lead you to the capital’s expansive Vondelpark. With its lush green spaces, central lakes and collection of amiable cafes, the Vondelpark makes a great escape from the traffic of the city and the ideal spot for enjoying a warm summer’s day.
I stayed in an apartment on Nieuwe Spiegelstraat for my 21st birthday with 4 friends, and it was hands down the best weekend of my entire life. The apartment was excellent and exactly what we needed! Ample space, facilities were fine and the location was great. We paid for someone to meet us at the apartment and she let us in fine and gave us clear information on all we needed to know. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an apartment in Amsterdam :)Josh - Date: 16-01-2014

Really friendly helpful staff and good apartment.Laura - Date: 09-04-2012
The appatment is in a perfect neighborhood, not to touristic, but still very well located. You have a supermarket only 2 minutes away. For young people this appartment is perfect, it is large, there is a lot of space, but there are no seperate rooms with doors only different floors.Natascha - Date: 27-02-2012

From finding the apartment online to checking in at the office and getting to the address, every stage of arranging accommodation was a breeze. The apartment was even better than anticipated, with lots of lovely features, in a beautiful part of town.Laura - Date: 05-12-2011
Great Apartment and great service, i would highly recommend staying here.David - Date: 10-10-2011
Great location and pleasant apartment, an excellent base. Beware the very steep stairs if you have little children - this is a traditional Amsterdam house with a room on each floor and steep stairs between. Some night time noise from a nearby hostel full of students - but we really liked this apartment and would recommend it.Judith - Date: 20-04-2011
The apartment was exactly as described and the location was excellent. The customer service was great and I would definitely book with you again in the future. Thank you!Anita - Date: 21-03-2011
This is a very beautiful spacious apartment in a great location. Minutes walk to everything, we never used the tram. I would not recommend this place for families with young children and people that may have physical challenges. There are very steep stairs within the 3 floors. Also, if you want a quite place a night - it can get quite loud a night from partying people. Otherwise very clean and well presented.Louie - Date: 04-09-2010
I recommend the site and the apartement that meets the on-line description. Very clean and very nice. Enjoy amsterdam in a tipical Dutch house on three floors.Roberto - Date: 04-09-2010
Lovely apartments and good service. Majority of apartments are very well located and are within walking distance of everything! I would recommend them and booking an apartment is a great alternative to staying in a hotel. Thanks.Shakill - Date: 02-03-2010
