Located on the apartment’s upper level are the two bedrooms and bathroom. Positioned within the slopes of the roof and featuring exposed ceiling beams,the first bedroom is furnished with an inviting double bed and bedside tables, whilst the second contains two comfy single beds. Completing this contemporary accommodation is the bright and fresh bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower.

As this apartment is located in a vibrant street in the center of Amsterdam, home to several restaurants and bars, there can be an increased level of sound from the surrounding area.

Conveniently situated just minutes away from the famous attractions of the city centre, such as the bustling Dam Square, the magnificent Royal Palace and the vivacious Red Light district, this apartment is ideally placed at the heart of Amsterdam’s popular Canal Belt. Boasting 65 miles worth of waterways, the city is encased by a network of canals which make up the Canal Belt and are home to an array of houseboats, canal cruise boats and colourful parades.

 

A short walk from the apartment will lead you to the fascinating Flower Market, which is the only floating flower market in the world. Here, on board the authentic houseboats, you will find a lovely collection of stalls selling a huge selection of flowers and bulbs, including Amsterdam’s renowned tulips.

 

Also nearby, and definitely worthy of a visit, is the entertaining Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square). This huge area, which was originally used as a dairy market, is lined with cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. During the evenings, Rembrandtplein becomes a nightlife hotspot, attracting revellers with its dance bars and nightclubs. At the centre of the square is a statue of the well-known Dutch artist Rembrandt van Rijn, after whom the square is named.
