Jordaan Westerstraat Apartment

Jordaan Westerstraat Apartment is a beautiful, bright and spacious 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of the popular Jordaan district, ideal for a group of up to four people visiting Amsterdam.

The apartment consists of a long open plan living space spanning the building from front to back. Windows at either end provide lots of natural light and the walls are painted a creamy white. Beautiful wooden flooring throughout simply adds to that feeling of space. The living room consists of two armchairs, a sofa and a flat screen TV. An excellent fitted open plan kitchen enables you to whisk up all your favourite dishes from home with ease, a large dining table is situated alongside for mealtimes together.

A staircase escorts you up to the two bedrooms which are equally serenely decorated encouraging restful sleep during your stay. The master bedroom has a double bed whilst the second room has two singles. You will also find storage furniture for all your belongings. There are two contemporary bathrooms in the apartment fitted with a combination of two toilets, one shower and a bath. Please note that they are accessed via the bedrooms.

The apartment is perfectly positioned in the charming and picturesque Jordaan district. This is one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in Amsterdam. You are sure to fall in love with the parallel small streets and their stunning architecture and famously competitive flourishing window box displays. You will find the wonderful Noordermarkt area around the corner which features a market on Monday and Saturday where you can pick up delicious food ingredients for your cooking back at the apartment. Monday mornings are popular here as the Westerstraat is the site of a second hand market where you will discover all kinds of unusual items on sale and there are lots of photo opportunities.

The country’s most visited museum is only a short walk away along the canal Prinsengracht, the Anne Frank House. A visit here comes highly recommended. Due to the popularity of the museum it is wise to book a visiting time slot in advance via the excellent and informative website. The Jordaan Westerstraat Apartment is surrounded by wonderful restaurants, shops and cafes. A typical Amsterdam cafe is De Blaffende vis (‘The barking fish’). One of the best ice cream parlours, Monte Pelmo, can be found around the corner. We also recommend Italian restaurant Cinema Paradiso and Hummus Bistro D&A, both situated opposite the apartment.
