Spread over two floors, the delightful 1-bedroom apartment provides comfort, space and traditional charm for up to 6 guests.

With its beautiful high authentic exposed wooden ceiling joists, stylish modern furnishings and warm wooden flooring throughout, you are sure to feel right at home here. Relax together on the large L-shaped sofa and arm chair and enjoy the flat screen TV also provided for your entertainment. The sofa also converts easily into a bed for two of your guests at night time. Enjoy delicious home cooked meals at the elegant glass topped dining table and chairs. You can rustle up anything from a simple snack to a full three course meal in the excellent fully fitted kitchen. Head up the steps to discover the private bedrooms which are hidden away in the eves of the building. You will find four single beds in the apartment. Attractive storage furniture and bedside lighting is also included here as well as a very stylish ensuite bathroom fitted with a shower, sink and toilet. This extremely central and comfortable holiday home is absolutely perfect for a group of friends or a family visiting the city.

Please note that this apartment is split over two levels and the staircase is open and quite steep therefore it is not suitable for children under 10 years of age..

The Envy Canal Residence is located on the famous Prinsengracht Canal, one of the prettiest waterways in the city. It is one of four great canals that make up the stunning Canal Belt district that drapes around Amsterdam’s ancient city centre like an ornate necklace. You are sure to love the surprisingly peaceful ambience of the area, the delightful tall and wonky canal houses, pretty houseboats and the little bridges that light up romantically at night time. The Canal Belt Amsterdam canal rings were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2010 so you will be spending your holiday within a national monument!

Just a 10 minute walk north of the apartment lies Holland’s most famous address, 263 Prinsengracht. This was the secret home of Anne Frank, her family and friends who hid from the Nazis during the occupation of the Netherlands. You are able to climb through the secret doorway into their hide-away as well as see Anne’s actual diary and notes. For many people a visit here is something of a personal pilgrimage after reading Anne’s diary many decades earlier, perhaps as a child themselves. The museum attracts over a million visitors every year and provides an extremely enlightening, moving and thought provoking experience for visitors of all ages. Arrive as early as possible in order to avoid the extremely long queues that occur particularly in the summer months. It is also possible to order tickets online for a specific entry time.

A walk from the apartment to Dam Square takes around 10 minutes, whilst you can also hop on a tram to Central Station at the nearby Westermarkt, just north of the apartment. The journey takes around 11 minutes, depending on traffic.
