Noorderkerk Deluxe Apartment Amsterdam is a stunning and spacious 1-bedroom apartment with roof terrace, housed in a traditional 17th century building in the heart of Amsterdam’s charming Jordaan district.
The apartment offers a spectacular accommodation experience for up to two guests. A beautiful bright living area features two sofas for relaxing in front of the flat screen TV. Large windows provide you with an excellent view of the Noorderkerk church itself. Wooden floor boards and exposed ceiling beams give this space a comfortable warm feeling. The décor is soft and neutral throughout, apart from in the kitchen where you will be wowed by the beautiful electric blue cupboards. Fitted with everything you need to prepare your favourite foods, the kitchen is also a cosy place to enjoy social meals together at the dining table.
Climb the stairs to the open space on the attic of the building to reach the wonderful bedroom. Here you will find a double bed. Beautiful sloped ceilings and more exposed beams make this room very romantic. Don’t miss the roof terrace – perfect for enjoying a glass of wine on an evening and admiring the view. There is a stylish private bathroom with a shower, bath, sink and toilet. Spacious, beautifully designed and perfectly situated in the heart of the Jordaan district, the Noorderkerk Deluxe Apartment promises you a holiday to remember.
Note: Access to the apartment is via steep stairs and therefore less suitable for elderly or very young guests.
Positives: Excellent location in a lively neighborhood, within walking distance to the Centrum in Amsterdam. Overall clean apartment, the owner hired cleaning staff to do the work. The apartment looks a bit older and smaller than the picture depicted but it wasn't a huge problem for us. Bonus: I have to give the owner a big plus for letting us stay for another half day free of charge! Improvement: Steep and shadow staircase even for youngsters could be a challenge as two of us had bruises just walking up/down.. Only one bathroom and shower in the entire apartment, and the stall is positioned relatively higher than in the States. Also, there was mouse in the house, and one night our food was eaten. Owner does impose a 3% extra credit card charge for payment on premise (this is in addition to your typical foreign exchange charge) that was a bit disappointing. - JLJINXIU - Date: 23-06-2018
The apartment in the Jordaan was just perfect for us. The owner was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us - she'd made a book with all the local information - where to eat, shop etc - that was in the apartment when we arrived. The apartment was extremely comfortable and a lovely place to return to after a busy day's sight-seeing!Jane - Date: 10-02-2014

The location of the apartment is great. However it is a bit noisy at night because there are 3 Pubs right next to the apartment. A big supermarket is about 400m away.Margit - Date: 17-05-2012
The apartment and owner were lovely. We were delighted with the location and the local bars and restaurants. We would definitely use the website again for other trips.Sally - Date: 02-05-2012
Short Stay Apartments provide the perfect accommodation solution when travelling with children. It was wonderful to have the space of an apartment instead of being crammed into a hotel room.Jane - Date: 24-04-2012
