Housing up to two guests in the delightful Jordaan quarter, this stylish Amsterdam apartment makes the perfect choice for an unforgettable Dutch adventure.
This well presented dwelling is all about the location, boasting a privileged position in one of the capital’s most beloved neighbourhoods. Overlooking a historical church and its charming surrounding square, the apartment allows you to explore the city’s incessant treasures with ease and grants admission to a host of local cafes, restaurants and stores.
Bright, modern and tastefully decorated, the lodging offers an attractive and relaxing retreat after a busy day sightseeing and comes equipped with a luxurious double bed, a sofa, a kettle and a flatscreen TV, available with international channels for a cosy evening’s entertainment. The apartment also includes an elegant, private bathroom, concluding this amiable residence with a sink, toilet and shower unit.
This Amsterdam accommodation could not be better located for an enriching city experience, perfectly suited to a couple desiring both centrality and an adorable local neighbourhood. Developed in the 1600s as a response to the overflowing labour force, the Jordaan suffered centuries of poverty and neglect yet retained a jovial, working class spirit that is still apparent to this day. Carefully restored in the 1970s, this enchanting district is now considered one of Amsterdam’s most desirable areas, combining pretty cobbled avenues and hidden courtyards with an unsurpassed array of restaurants, bars and cafes.
Indeed, the Jordaan offers some of the capital’s best culinary options, ranging from the popular Vlaming Eten en Drinken to the pizza heaven of La Perla to the organic gem of Restaurant Bordewijk. The latter resides within metres of your doorstep and provides fresh local ingredients at affordable prices, a large quantity of which are procured at the fantastic weekly famer’s market that takes place on the quaint square in front of the apartment. This humble plaza is dominated by the captivating Noorderkerk, a 17th century edifice displaying a balanced cross layout and a charming crowning tower, which still remains an integral place of worship for the local community. Amsterdam’s breathtaking Canal Belt is also on your doorstep, granting instant access to picturesque waterways and a host of significant cultural venues, including the ever popular Anne Frank House.

The location across from Noordmarkt was very nice with the bazar and the farmers market. Extremely easy to walk to central station.
