In the same room you’ll also find an open-plan kitchen, rich with various types of culinary equipment, so you won’t feel limited if you decide to cook the way you like. Moreover, there’s also a true fireplace and although no longer usable, it creates a sense of pleasant nostalgia.

 

This great apartment comprises as many as two separate bedrooms, each bright, tranquil and atmospheric and provided with a comfortable double bed and a set of bedside items to grant you a sound sleep. There are also two bathrooms – modern and fresh, fitted with a toilet, sink and a shower cabin to make the whole place complete and ready to be used.

 

Important information 

• There are steep stairs in this apartment making it is less suitable for small children, the elderly, or disabled people. 

• The fireplace in the living room is not functional and cannot be used.

 

The picturesque district that goes the name of the Jordaan is a true gem on the map of Amsterdam. Known for its magic, bohemian atmosphere, friendly, casual mood and plenty of fantastic places to go and see, it is one of the best local flagships and leaves any visitor craving for even more excitement that this district offers.

 

Among many must-sees to be found around, you’ll find one just across your door; we’re talking about the complex of the fantastic Noorderkerk (very useful as a landmark point of reference, too!) and the neighbouring Noordermarkt, which is full of stands offering organic fresh food, antiquities and textiles; another great thing about this neighbourhood is that wherever you go, you’re bound to come across at least one or two charming bars, cafés or restaurants on virtually every corner; take places like De Bolhoed, Jottum, Café Nol or Winkel as the closest examples.

 

Moving southwards along the lovely Canal Belt you’ll reach the Amsterdam Tulip Museum – we bet that you may notice there some colours that you wouldn’t even expect to exist in the natural environment! Further, you’ll see another church tower overlooking the district – it will be the Westerkerk with the famous Anne Frank House right next to it; it offers an incredible opportunity of a journey inside the memories of the world-known Dutch diarist. Apart from that, you can take the Westermarkt to the east and in a flash you’ll get to the strict centre of the city where you can explore places like Dam Square, De Wallen or Oude Kerke, to name only a few.
