Rijksmuseum View Apartment 1

The beautifully styled 2-bedroom apartment is located within the close vicinity of the majestic Rijksmuseum and certainly lives up to its luxury name.

Located on the first floor of the building, the apartment is accessed via stairs. Inside you will find a stunningly designed living space for up to four guests with elegant furnishings and fittings as well as wooden flooring throughout. You are encouraged to make yourself feel at home here. Relax on the comfy sofa and armchairs after long days out exploring the cultural sights the city has to offer. A large flat screen TV is provided here for your entertainment and it is installed with lots of international channels. There is an excellent fully fitted kitchen and a beautiful dining table and chairs to enable you to prepare and enjoy your own meals.

The apartment has a bathroom fitted with a shower, sink and toilet. The two private bedrooms encourage a good night's sleep. You will find storage furniture, pretty bed-side lighting and a comfortable double bed in one room and two singles in the other.

Please note that this apartment has steep stairs. Therefore it may not be suitable for elderly guests or families traveling with small children.

Location

The apartment is located in the center of the city, opposite the Rijksmuseum and within close vicinity of the Museum Square. This popular plaza, the cultural hub of Amsterdam, is home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum for modern art. A few minutes west lies the delightful Vondelpark, the city's most popular open green space. A mile long, the park is beautifully landscaped and visited by more than 10 million people every year. Take a leisurely stroll admiring the water features and thousands of trees as you go. Have a coffee or wine on the terrace of one of the cafes in the park. You could also hire bicycles and join the hundreds of other cyclists, skateboarders and roller bladders who prefer to enjoy the park at a slightly fast pace. Once you climb aboard a bicycle you will be wondering why you had not done so sooner. Amsterdam and most of Holland is designed with the bicycle in mind. Excellent dedicated cycle lanes make it safe to cycle here in comparison with any other European country. Getting to and from the apartment is easy by public transportation since regular trams travel past the front of the Rijksmuseum to Central Station. The journey takes around ten minutes, depending on traffic and the time of day.

Thank you we really enjoyed our stay. Location great although noisy at night/early mornings due to trams but to expected for this position. Excellent facilities in apartment, very comfortable and well-furnished. Staff very helpful and good with on-site check in and information. Also responded very quickly and efficiently to fix a problem with the heating service including checking it was all working the next day. Many thanks and we hope to stay here again.
