The overall is tidy, well organized and amazingly brightened by large windows boasting a graceful view on the neighborhood.
De Pijp is known in Amsterdam for being one of the liveliest spots of the centre. Situated on the left bank of the Amstel river, the XIX century residential neighborhood is the most multicultural, multi-ethnical and fascinating area of the city.
The studio is situated nearby the main public park of the district, Sarphatipark, not extremely vast, but boasting quietness and tidy green lawns, usually packed during those fresh, long summer days, with picnic enthusiasts.
Walk along the Ceinturbaan avenue and reach the left bank of the Amstel river, with its long tree-lined promenade or, alternatively, take the opposite direction (north-west) to visit the shopping streets of the quarter and catch a tram to get to the centre.
The Flower Market, the Canal Belt and the Dam Square are all at a very short distance from the studio’s area.
The apartment is lovely and is ideal for long or short stays - will definately book again!Ometha - Date: 08-05-2013
