Staalmeesters Apartment is a contemporary 2-bedroom city apartment that makes the ideal base for up to four guests, located just minutes from the famous squares Rembrandtplein and Waterlooplein.

With 100 square metres of space, there’s enough room here for everyone. Beautifully presented, the apartment boasts a creamy white decor and wooden floors throughout with wonderful exposed wooden ceilings reminding you of the age of the building. A bright living room area consists of an armchair and two comfortable sofas. A flat screen TV is also provided here for your entertainment. The fully fitted kitchen enables you to prepare all your favourite meals from home. Pick up delicious ingredients from the many supermarkets and convenience stores close by. Enjoy your meals at the stylish dining table. 

The two bedrooms are attractively presented to encourage a good night’s sleep during your stay. Each room is equipped with a comfortable double bed. There are also two bathrooms included in the apartment which provide two toilets, a bath and a shower and are accessible through each of the bedrooms.

Please note: Because the staircase up to the bedrooms is quite steep, the apartment may not be suitable for visitors with mobility issues or small children.

You will find the apartment located in the heart of Amsterdam’s beautiful historical city centre, barely a minute’s walk away from the famous vibrant square, the Rembrandtplein. The area is particularly architecturally attractive and you will find a plethora of shops and boutiques on your doorstep to explore as well as some delicious restaurants and delightful cafes as the typical Dutch brown cafe De Gaeper. Get the best chocolate in town at Puccini Bomboni, the shop is situated just a few metres from your apartment. And in the next street you will find one of the most beautiful waterside terraces at Cafe de Jaren.

The Red Light District is around eight minutes’ walk away whilst Amsterdam’s wonderful Waterlooplein flea-market is definitely worth a visit too. It’s accessed from the apartment by crossing over one of the main bridges to the east. Here you will find some excellent items on sale ranging from antiques to vintage clothes and just about anything else you can imagine. This is the perfect place to pick up an unusual souvenir of your holiday as well as some crazy photo opportunities. Getting to and from Central Station from the apartment is very easy since you can simply cross over the canal to Rokin and hop on any tram heading north up Damrak. The journey takes only a matter of minutes.
