Offering stylish lodgings in the east of Amsterdam, this modern studio apartment comfortably accommodates up to two guests.
Ideally located in a peaceful neighbourhood of the city, this apartment provides the perfect retreat for you and your companion. Fashionably decorated to a very high standard, the apartment is a place in which you can relax and unwind following an action packed day of sightseeing and entertainment. The living area is enhanced by crisp, white walls, large authentic windows and stunning, dark wooden floors and is where you will find a comfy double bed, flatscreen television and a DVD player.
The contemporary kitchen, with its sleek units and decorative wall tiles, is fully equipped with everything you will need to enable you to prepare a home cooked meal. A cute dining table is also at your disposal, creating the model setting for an evening meal. The bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, sink and shower enclosure, is light and refreshing. The apartment also has a balcony, perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or to smoke a cigarette.
Conveniently situated within close proximity to a collection of shops, cafes and restaurants, this apartment is perfectly positioned within the east of Amsterdam – an area renowned for its peaceful alternative to the bustling streets of the city centre. Just minutes away from the apartment, you will find the green and leafy Plantage district which is home to the picturesque Botanical Gardens. Dating back to the 1600s, the gardens are filled with over 6000 different species of plants and also offer the ideal setting for a relaxing picnic.
Literally next to the Botanical Gardens is Amsterdam’s old zoo, the Royal Artis, which opened to the public back in the 19th century. Within the zoo are around 900 species of animals, together with a museum, a library and an impressive aquarium.
A leisurely twenty minute stroll away from the apartment will lead you to the stunning Oosterpark, one of the city’s delightful public parks. Designed in 1891 by the Dutch landscape architect Leonard Anthony Springer, the Oosterpark was created to resemble that of an ‘English Garden’. Two notable structures can be found within the park – a memorial to the film maker Theo van Gogh and the iconic National Slavery Monument.

Shortstayapartments offer a really good alternative to Hotels when visiting Amsterdam. Not only might they be a priceworthy consideration but on top you feel home in a foreign place. We highly enjoyed our stay and can recommend this particular apartment and the entire website without any constraints.
